"Rivers of Love" has been received six awards: a Global Music Awards Silver Medal, a Parents' Choice Silver Honor Award, a NAPPA award, a Tilliwig Best Family Fun award, the Creative Child Magazine's 2018 CD of the Year Award and a Hot Diggity award.
Singer-songwriter Kare Strong & Grammy-nominated multi instrumentalist Josh Goforth, join forces to create an album of sweet and fun songs for the whole family. The songs tell tales of friendship, goodwill, generosity, goodness, and most of all love.
"This album in the folk tradition from singer-songwriter Kare Strong and gifted musician Josh Goforth is just right for quiet times, painting pictures of fairies, trees and flowers, respect for nature and our connection to it and to each other. Strong's delicate vocals and Goforth's accompaniment (including a notably sweet fiddle) turn this poetic gathering of tenderness and whimsy into word pictures that will kindle imaginations, from an unexpectedly meaningful encounter between "Two Toads and a Bee" and and appreciation for "So Many Shades of Brown" (In the quills of a porcupine. In an artist's pencil line...") to the "Faery Dust" reason that peacock's feathers look the way they do ("Peacocks sweep the faerie's rooms. They use their folded tails for brooms.")

"A wonderful folk album that soothes and entertains. Fans of americana music will absolutely love this CD. It's one of those CD's where, if you're not paying close attention to the lyrics, you'd never know it's a children's CD. The music composition appeals to music lovers of all ages."

"This is a beautiful album that the whole family will love," says NAPPA Director Elena Epstein. "The marvelous set of gentle, outdoorsy music involves nature, animals and fairies and tells tales of friendship, generosity and of course, love."
"Beautiful, sweet music that heralds the calm, happy, openness of a childhood lived outdoors. For families who like folk music, singing along, nature, and rivers of love. Waldorf leaning families may find the music content especially fitting. Here's to more peaceful road trips and morning chore routines." Lauren M.
